Agricultural robotics is transforming the way we grow food, and women are playing a vital role in driving that change. To put these trailblazers in the spotlight, the very first Women in AgRobotics Award has been launched.
The award celebrates founders, engineers, farmers, researchers, and leaders who are pushing the boundaries of technology in agriculture. These are the women who inspire others, challenge industry norms, and prove that innovation knows no gender.
Nominations are open until October 5, 2025, and the winner will be revealed on October 23 at 2:15 PM, during the prestigious FIRA USA Award Ceremony.
A distinguished jury will evaluate the nominations. Representing international expertise and advocacy for women in agriculture and AgTech, the panel includes Antoon Vanderstraeten (Women in Ag Magazine, Belgium), Paige Gilligan (California Women for Agriculture, USA), Chrissy Wozniak (American Agri-Women, USA) and Melinda Taschetta-Millane (Women in Ag Tech, USA). Each candidate will be assessed on her impact in agricultural robotics, leadership qualities, pioneering role in a male-dominated sector, innovation and vision, as well as her commitment to diversity in AgTech.
This is more than an award—it’s a recognition of talent, perseverance, and vision. If you’re shaping the future of ag robotics, or know someone who is, now is the moment to step forward.
Apply today—because the future of agtech is inclusive, and it might just have your name on it. You can apply here!
