Women in Agricultural Innovation Award 2026: applications now open

Women are helping shape the future of agriculture — and their work deserves to be seen. For its second edition, the Women in Agricultural Innovation Award is expanding its scope beyond agricultural robotics. The award now celebrates women driving innovation across the wider AgTech sector, from robotics and precision agriculture to agricultural data, biotech, digital tools, sensors and automation.

Whether you are a founder, engineer, farmer, researcher or industry leader, this award is designed to recognize women who are not only excelling in their field, but who are also helping move agriculture forward through leadership, vision and tangible impact.

In a sector that is still largely male-dominated, these women are breaking new ground, challenging conventions and creating space for others to follow.

The award is organised by FIRA USA and aims to amplify the voices and achievements of women working at the forefront of agricultural innovation.

Applications are open until October 5, 2026. You can apply here!

The nominations will be evaluated by a jury bringing together representatives from Women In Ag Magazine, California Women for Agriculture, American Agri-Women and Women in Ag Tech. Candidates will be assessed on their impact, leadership, innovative vision, pioneering role and engagement in promoting greater diversity within AgTech.

The winner will be announced during the FIRA USA Award Ceremony on October 21 at 4:30 pm and will receive, among other things, official recognition at FIRA USA, media visibility, communication support and opportunities to connect with leading organisations in the agricultural innovation community.

If you are a woman helping to shape the future of agriculture — or know someone who is — this is the moment to step forward.

Apply before October 5, 2026.
