Come meet us at the global show for animal farming in Rennes, France!

The French exhibition dedicated to livestock and agricultural production, SPACE, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and we will be here for it! The international exhibition, located at the heart of France’s livestock region of Brittany, will take place on September 15, 16 and 17 at the Rennes Exhibition Centre.

Next week will be the 40th anniversary of the Britton exhibition SPACE in Rennes (France), and our magazines will be there to report live. Set in France’s prime livestock region of Brittany, SPACE is both a meeting place for local livestock farmers and open to global market. The international exhibition promotes exchange, cooperation and business among professionals, a formula that has proven successful in its nearly forty years of existence.

Some numbers

With 1200 exhibitors in outdoor or indoor spaces, 100.000 professional visitors and 14.000 international attendees from 125 countries, SPACE kicks of the busy autumn of tradeshows in Europe with impressive numbers. The combination of respect for local agriculture and openness to the global market makes it a hub for commercial partnerships, technological transfer and sharing expertise.

Events

The exhibition boasts several themes and events, so that every professional from the agricultural industry can find what they are looking for at the exhibition. Innov’SPACE, for example, rewards the most innovative products, services and equipment: from robotics to animal nutrition, waste management and renewable energy. The Youth Forum is there to encourage young farmers to connect and network with other stakeholders from the industry. No livestock exhibition without animals, of course: the major cattle, sheep and goat breeds from the region are well represented at SPACE with competitions, presentations and auctions.

The Women in Ag Foundation/magazine – the platform about and for women in agriculture world wide – and Hectares – the Belgian specialist magazine for agricultural technique and machinery – will be reporting live from the exhibition grounds.
