Women in Ag Awards International

The role of women in agriculture worldwide has evolved. More and more women in the sector are coming forward, as business partners or leaders and as initiators in the community. Women in Ag aims to give these women a voice and let their stories serve as inspiration for the many other women in the industry. That’s why the magazine was created.

Today, however, we want to take this one step further and award these inspiring women.

That’s why our magazine is joining forces with EuroTier, the largest global trade show for the livestock industry. At EuroTier 2022, we will be presenting the very first edition of Women in Ag Awards International.

Women in Ag is looking for women from around the world who are active in the agricultural industry, and more specifically those who work in the broad animal husbandry sector, to nominate for these awards. Are you a woman running a dairy or beef operation, do you keep pigs, chickens or rabbits, do you have bee colonies or manage a fish farm? Or do you contribute to agriculture in some other way: by working in science, teaching, engineering (like the women from our “Outsider” feature),… ? In that case, sign up to enter the Women in Ag Awards International! Is there a woman working in the animal husbandry industries you look up to and would like to nominate? That’s also a possibility!

The Women in Ag Awards International is a joint organization between the DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft) and Women in Ag Magazine. The Awards will be presented at EuroTier on 16 November 2022.
